Richelle Mead came to Salt Lake City tonight! It was absolutely wonderful, and unexpected. I hopped onto Twitter this morning to see what the morning word was, and saw that Richelle was getting on a plan to Salt Lake City for her book signing. Well I ran over to Bethia’s desk at work, and left her a note about the exciting news. We were both extremely surprised and stoked! So we acquired a flip, grabbed my copy of Last Sacrifice and hurried down to the Public Library in Salt Lake right after work.

It was great. Richelle read from the book, did a Q and A session, and then sat down for hours of book signing. So awesome.

Although we didn’t rush out to see the new Harry Potter movie, we definitely made it a priority. It’s always a good time, and frankly, a guilty pleasure to indulge in one of these films.

If you thought we were being nerdy while browsing through the bookstore on the release of Suzanne Collin’s Mockingjay… you’ll think twice! Ever seen a Mockingjay tattoo? Now you have.

While we were waiting for the midnight release of Mockingjay we decided to browse the young adult fantasy section for any new books that might catch our eye. We ran across a series, which we hated upon reading the description. So! We decided to read the description to you, so you could have a laugh as well… Enjoy! But don’t read the book haha
